Serengeti #4 reverses the Series’ visual rhythm with richly colored ochre-gold right and left front panels surrounding an olive-green breast panel. The softly lustrous solid fabrics create a warm, enveloping foundation, while the contrasting green center introduces depth and an elegant sense of balance.

The dimensional lapels become the expressive focal point, showcasing a varied animal pattern in black, camel, brown, cream, and muted green. Shifts in pattern and scale give each lapel its own visual movement while maintaining a beautifully coordinated composition. The solid ochre-gold back continues the warmth and subtle sheen of the front panels, making Serengeti #4 equally compelling in contemporary, collected, transitional, and globally inspired interiors.

The separately constructed dimensional fabric lapels are professionally sewn into the face of the pillow and remain physically open beneath, allowing a hand to move between each lapel and the pillow face. This meticulous construction creates genuine sculptural depth, luxurious layering, and the architectural character associated with fine tailoring. Created by Kim Melrose in early 2026, the distinctive lapel design is Patent Pending.

Limited Series

Serengeti #4 belongs to the Serengeti Series. Each Tailored Collection Series may include one to eight numbered designs, with only one to eight pillows created in each design. Quantities are exceptionally limited, and sold-out designs may be succeeded by entirely new Series rather than reproduced.
