Newport #4 explores asymmetry through a sophisticated arrangement of blue-and-white textiles. From the wearer’s perspective, the right front panel features a richly textured white surface with softly defined horizontal movement, while the left front panel introduces a tailored navy ground patterned with fine white pinstripes.

Deep-blue dimensional lapels with a plush appearance and subtle luster frame a luminous white breast panel, creating an elegant transition between the contrasting front fabrics. The interplay of texture, stripe, and saturated color gives Newport #4 a crisp architectural presence. A coordinating textured white back provides a bright, tactile reverse suited to coastal, contemporary, and classically tailored interiors.

The separate dimensional lapel construction is professionally sewn into the face of the pillow and remains physically open beneath, allowing a hand to move between the lapel and the pillow face. This sculptural construction creates genuine depth, luxurious layering, and the architectural character of fine tailoring. Created by Kim Melrose in early 2026, the distinctive lapel design is Patent Pending.

Limited Series

Newport #4 belongs to the Newport Series. Each Tailored Collection Series may include one to eight numbered designs, with only one to eight pillows created in each design. Quantities are exceptionally limited, and sold-out designs may be succeeded by entirely new Series rather than reproduced.
