Savoy #1 is an opulent study in saturated red, sculptural texture, and dramatic tailored form. Its luminous velvet surfaces and sophisticated tonal contrasts create a commanding presence with the elegance of formal evening attire.

From the wearer’s perspective, the right and left front panels are fashioned from richly ribbed red velvet, creating strong vertical rhythm across the pillow face. Dimensional lapels feature an expressive pattern in vivid red and muted gray, framing a finely textured gray and taupe breast panel that introduces a restrained counterpoint to the surrounding color and sheen.

The reverse is finished entirely in the same ribbed red velvet used on the front panels, extending the pillow’s saturated color and tactile character. Savoy #1 brings theatrical sophistication to glamorous, Art Deco-inspired, traditional, transitional, and richly layered contemporary interiors.

The separately constructed dimensional fabric lapels are professionally sewn into the face of the pillow and remain physically open beneath, allowing a hand to move between the lapel and the pillow face. This genuine dimensional construction creates sculptural depth and luxurious layering while capturing the architectural character of fine tailoring. Created by Kim Melrose in early 2026, the distinctive lapel design is Patent Pending.

Limited Series

Savoy #1 belongs to the Savoy Series. Each Tailored Collection Series may include one to eight numbered designs, with only one to eight pillows created in each design. Quantities are exceptionally limited, and sold-out designs may be succeeded by entirely new Series rather than reproduced.
