**Mayfair #1 Tailored Pillow – 22" × 22"**
Confident, architectural, and unmistakably original, the Mayfair #1 Tailored Pillow combines the heritage character of a classic plaid with the drama of deep navy and golden ochre. Its distinguished palette lends warmth and sophistication to libraries, living rooms, studies, and other thoughtfully layered interiors.
The face features a substantial plaid in charcoal gray, golden mustard, ivory, and dark accent lines. Two symmetrical lapels in richly textured golden ochre frame a plush, deep navy center panel, while the solid navy back creates a sophisticated continuation of the contrasting front detail.
The signature dimensional lapels are separate fabric elements professionally sewn into the face of the pillow. Each lapel remains physically open beneath, allowing a hand to move between the lapel and the pillow face—a distinctive construction that creates genuine depth, movement, layering, and tailored architectural character. This original lapel design was created by Kim Melrose in early 2026 and is Patent Pending.

**Limited Series**
Mayfair #1 belongs to the coordinated Mayfair Series, which may include one to eight numbered fabric layouts, with only one to eight pillows made in each layout. Quantities are exceptionally limited, and sold-out designs may give way to entirely new Series rather than being reproduced.

Care
Each pillow features a discreet hidden zipper, allowing the insert to be easily removed.
Pillow covers may be professionally dry cleaned if needed. For everyday care, light spot cleaning can be done using a gentle surface-cleaning product such as a Tide® wipe or a similar fabric-safe cleaner.
Always test cleaning products in an inconspicuous area first.
